Configuring Apple iPhone

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account…
  2. Tap Other.
  3. Tap Add Mail Account
  4. Enter:
    • Your Name
    • Enter your full E-mail Address. Example: info@example.com
    • Your E-mail Password
    • A description.
  5. Tap Next
  6. Tap IMAP so it is highlighted.
  7. Enter:
    • Incoming Mail Server as mail.example.com, replacing example.com with the domain of your hosting account
    • Your full E-mail Address. Example: info@example.com for User Name
    • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) as mail.example.com, replacing example.com with the domain of your hosting account.
    • Your fullE-mail Address. Example: info@example.com for User Name
    • Your E-mail Password
  8. Tap Next
  9. A warning ‘Cannot Verify Server Identity’ will appear. Tap continue
  10. Wait for iPhone to verify the account information
  11. Tap Save
  12. Tap the email account you have just created
  13. Tap Account
  14. Scroll down and tap Advanced
  15. Set use SSL to OFF
  16. Tap IMAP Path Prefix and enter INBOX (all upper case)
  17. Tap the top left arrow to go back
  18. Tap SMTP
  19. Tap your Primary Server
  20. Set use SSL to OFF
  21. Tap Server Port and enter 25 or 26
  22. Tap Done
